Of course it’s important for your kids to exercise and wear themselves out – they stay healthy, sleep well, and develop their minds and bodies. But just as important, our classes will help develop at a young age the physical habits they need to grow into healthy adults.

Ballet Tech
Pointe
Ballet is crucial for a strong dance foundation, emphasizing grace, strength, and discipline. Join our recommended ballet classes to learn fundamental positions with focus on turnout, posture, and alignment. Develop precise technique and essential strength for all ballet movements, and advanced dancers can explore pointe classes alongside continued training.
This class includes a proper warm-up, corrective exercises, circuit training, cardio exercise, bodyweight exercises and stretching—all necessary for longevity in dance. This class is great for dancers looking to try out for high school or college dance teams, those looking to make improvements in their technical performance, increase endurance, or are looking for a challenging & rewarding class that will make you sweat!

Contemporary dance focuses on spacial and body awareness, use of body weight, floor work, leaps, turns, efficiency of muscle usage, and safe body alignment. Contemporary is a constantly evolving genre that incorporates jazz, ballet, and modern techniques. This class is designed for dancers with dance experience who want to explore different types of movement and artistry.

Hip-hop dance is a vibrant form that combines a variety of urban, commercial and freestyle movements. Dancers will learn the latest styles out of Los Angeles and New York, in this fast-paced, challenging and fun environment. In addition, dancers will learn technique as well as dance combinations set to classic and current music that is appropriate for age and maturity.

A powerful, dynamic dance style, which improves overall coordination and flexibility, jazz dance is energetic and fun. Dancers will learn various leaps, turns, and combinations throughout the year. To continue to excel in jazz, dancers need a strong background in ballet, as it encourages grace and balance.

Tap dancing focuses on creating percussive rhythm and sound through syncopation and precise, rapid movement of the feet. This class is terrific for developing coordination, agility and a sense of timing and musicality. Dancers will enjoy various versions of tap from classical, rhythm, musical and funk styles.

Musical Theatre is a jazz-based class filled with Broadway style dancing. Classes incorporate the style of dance one would see on a Broadway stage. Dancers will learn to use both acting and dancing while performing through the use of facial expressions and sharp, clear movements.
